More recitals, camps and the 4th of July

In June, Lillie had a Piano Recital and a Gymnastics recital. At her piano recital she played "French Children's Song" and "Let it go." Both of these songs were very hard and we are proud of her.
She was really excited when she received her gymnastics medal.
A week after school was out, Lillie and Sophie started their Soccer and Tennis camps.
Photo: 1st day of soccer and tennis camp. Soccer moved indoors and tennis was reschedule, because of the rain.
Sophie was really excited when the coach helped her balance the ball on the back of her neck.
Lillie enjoyed hitting the tennis ball over the net.

We continued our 4th of July tradition by riding in the Richland Parade.
Later that evening, we went to a friend's house for swimming, hot dogs and fireworks.

First two weeks of summer break

Lillie has been out of school for two weeks and we have been enjoying her summer break.
Lillie started tennis lessons and took a few science classes.
We went to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, picked strawberries,
and we had a playdate at Jack and Jill Preschool. This past year, we bought a brick as part of Jack and Jill's fundraising project. Lillie and Sophie sat by their brick pictured below.
Today, we went to a library event and met Zeus, the world's tallest dog. He was in the 2013 Guinness World Record book. He was 44" tall to the top of his back. He was really friendly and the girls were not scared of him.
