More recitals, camps and the 4th of July

In June, Lillie had a Piano Recital and a Gymnastics recital. At her piano recital she played "French Children's Song" and "Let it go." Both of these songs were very hard and we are proud of her.
She was really excited when she received her gymnastics medal.
A week after school was out, Lillie and Sophie started their Soccer and Tennis camps.
Photo: 1st day of soccer and tennis camp. Soccer moved indoors and tennis was reschedule, because of the rain.
Sophie was really excited when the coach helped her balance the ball on the back of her neck.
Lillie enjoyed hitting the tennis ball over the net.

We continued our 4th of July tradition by riding in the Richland Parade.
Later that evening, we went to a friend's house for swimming, hot dogs and fireworks.

Soccer Camp and Animals at the Library

This past month has been busy with Gymnastics, Soccer camp, and a couple of visits to the library to see animals.  We visit the library one to two times a week for the summer reading program, including crafts, to turn in our reading log, and see special events.

Firs,t Lillie was in soccer camp with several of her friends.  She kicked the ball around the field, but
She also held hands with a friend and sat on the field picking flowers with the other girls.
The library that we go to for Lillie's story time had a tortoise,
 an armadillo,
and a python.  There were several other animals that zoologist talked about and let the kids pet.
At Sophie's story time library, Alligators came to visit.  Sophie was sleeping while Lillie and her friends got to pet the alligator.
Her friends above were also in soccer camp: Camille (in green), Gavin (in the hat), Lillie, Libby (in front of Lillie) and Ashley or Amanda (in blue shirt).  The twins usually wear pink or purple to help us all tell them apart.  Libby was the girl that Lillie held hands with and picked flowers with at Soccer camp.  She is also the girl in the red dress at the other library event with animals.

Trophy, Tutu and Piano Keys

Lillie's soccer season came to an end and she got a trophy.  She was so excited.  She has been wanting a trophy for the the past year.
Thursday, Lillie started piano lessons.  She learned a lot in her first lesson and she can't wait to go back.  Lillie is sitting with her piano teacher Mrs. Lawerence.
Yesterday, Lillie had her Dance/gymnastics recital.  She did a great job and she can't wait until her classes start back up.  Afterwards, we went to Olive Garden to celebrate.  She loves Olive Garden, because she can order her favorite food and drink...Cheese Ravoli and a Shirley Temple.
